Crime drama set in New York named best film

The US National Board of Review has named crime drama ‘A Most Violent Year’ as the film of the year, according to media reports.
The film set in the 80’s New York is directed by JC Chandor.
The movie’s actors, Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain, also won awards from the influential board.
Michael Keaton, the main actor in 'Birdman,' shared the best actor prize with Isaac.
The best director award went to Clint Eastwood for 'American Sniper,' a war drama.
