Cranberries singer arrested for 'alleged assault' in flight

Dolores O'Riordan, the singer of the legendary Irish group Cranberries, has been arrested on Monday, November 10, for allegedly assaulting an airline staffer and headbutting a policeman who attempted to arrest her, media reports said.
The 43-year-old star was taken off the transatlantic Aer Lingus flight at Shannon Airport after the alleged incident in midflight between New York and Ireland.
She was later released from custody. The police said further investigations were on.
The member of the cabin crew had to be taken to hospital for treatment, reports said.
