Christopher Nolan discusses sound theory in 'Interstellar'

Noted director Christopher Nolan recently talked about the use of sound in his new film “Interstellar”. According to the director, the movie is noted for its “adventurous and creative” sound, and perhaps this is the best feature that gives wings to the experimental film. He further added that he always had a passion for films that had impressionistic sound! According to reports, Christopher Nolan mentioned that most of the filmmakers he had admired for years have implemented sound in adventurous and bold ways. He clearly denies the idea of attaining clarity only through dialogue. The director said that that he did not believe that clarity could only be achieved through dialogue.
