Chris Brown's probation revoked after an alleged hit-and-run accident
July 17 , 2013
A judge reviewed the details of an alleged hit-and–run incident and decided to revoke Chris Brown’s probation. Brown’s lawyer said that the matter could be resolved informally and that this hit-and-run case would be back on July 23. Another hearing is set for August 16.
Brown had already been on felony probation for beating his ex-girlfriend Rihanna and had been fulfilling the requirements of his probation. There have, however, been a number of other incidents where the singer had not acted appropriately. For instance, Brown and Drake got into a fight at a New york City nightclub last June. Such incidents have been cited as proof for the fact that Brown had violated the terms of his probation.
