Cher's son said heroin saved him

  • Musician Elijah Blue Allman and the son of Greg and Cher spoke about his addictions and said he began doing weed and ecstasy when he was 11. "I mean, it's just what you did, it's just what everybody did," he said.

The younger Allman also mentioned that heroin sort of saved him. "If I didn't have that at that point, I don't know what I would have done...You may jump off a bridge. If you can only just go through that time period and live through it and then get help."

He revealed that he had "some close calls" when it came to overdosing but he "always kind of kept it a little bit safe, but you never can do that."
