Celebrity's Manager Admits Stealing $7m from Artist in US

  • As per reports, the US prosecutors have said that pop star Alanis Morissette's ex-manager Jonathan Schwartz admitted stealing of more than over $7m (£5.7m) from the singer as well as other celebrities.

    Schwartz was initially confronted about the theft but he lied of investing the money into some illegal marijuana growing business.

    At the federal court in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Schwartz admitted that he stole $4.8m from Morissette and more than $2m from other celebrity clients.

    Schwartz was Morissette'smanager between 2009 and 2016 and he used to handle revenues, manage her accounts and pay bills on the pop star's behalf.
