"Carrie" prank scares customers at coffee shop

  • Discovering that telekinesis is a real thing would probably freak anyone out; a girl seemed to have slammed someone against the wall using the power of telekinesis after he spilled coffee on her laptop.

People's reactions at this coffee shop in West Village, Manhattan was quite intense but the scene turned out to be a publicity stunt for the upcoming move "Carrie."

The man had pretended to spill the coffee on the girl's laptop and they used wires against the wall in order to make the stunt work.

It's not the first time that such a stunt was designed to promote a film; The 2012 film "Chronicle" created the illusion of people flying in New York City.
