Bruce Dickinson, frontman of Iron Maiden, being treated for cancer

  • Bruce Dickinson, the front man of Iron Maiden, is undergoing cancer treatment, the band said on its website. He was diagnosed late last year after a tumor was discovered on the back of his tongue, the band said. Following radiology and chemotherapy treatments, he is expected to “make a complete recovery” by May.

Since the tumor was detected in its early stage, “the prognosis…is extremely good”, the metal band said. Iron Maiden completed a three-year tour in July last year.
