'Bronze sculptures may be Michelangelo's work'
February 3 , 2015
A team of researchers from various countries has indicated that two bronze sculptures attributed to various artistes over the decades may have been made by the great Michelangelo, media reports said. If true, this would make the sculptures of the naked men on panthers the only surviving bronzes by the 16th century master. The sculptures will be displayed at Cambridge’s Fitzwilliam Museum, in the UK. They were attributed to Michelangelo in the 19th century, but that theory had been discarded by experts, until now.
