Broadway star dies at 87

One of Broadway's most honored stars, Julie Harris died at 87.
Family friend Francesca James said the cause of death was congestive heart failure. The actress had suffered a stroke in 2001 and another one in 2010. James, who had known Harris for 50 years said "she was, really, the greatest influence in my life."
Harris had made her Broadway debut in 1945 and her biggest successes have been on stage. The actress once said she doesn't hesitate to say she found God in theatre.
Harris had been fascinated by movies since a young age and considered herself as plain-looking. She had turned to acting in order to become other persons.
The actress had been married thrice and has one son. Arrangements for her funeral are pending.
