British fantasy author Terry Pratchett dies

Terry Pratchett, one of Britain’s best-known authors of fantasy fiction, has died at the age of 66.
He was suffering from Alzheimer’s, and publicly spoke about the disease in the past few years.
Best known as the man who created the Discworld series, Pratchett wrote over 70 books in his career, and finished his last book in 2014. He wrote over 40 installments of the Discworld series, and his books were translated into 37 languages.
He faced his illness “publicly and bravely”, Larry Finlay of Transworld publishers said.
