British actor Donald Sinden dies aged 90

  • Donald Sinden, a British actor who worked in theater, films and television in a career spanning over six decades, has died at the age of 90 after a long battle with prostate cancer, reports said.

    After making a stage debut in a Shakespearean play, he acted in dozens of films and TV productions.

    Sinden's popular TV appearances include roles in Never the Twain and Judge John Deed. His first film role was in The Cruel Sea (1953).
