Bond star Daniel Craig undergoes surgery after injury during filming

  • James Bond star Daniel Craig had to undergo “arthroscopic” knee surgery after he sustained an injury during the shooting of the new Bond film ‘Spectre’. Eon Productions described the operation as a “minor procedure” and denied reports that Craig, 47, had to miss many days of filming. He will “rejoin production” on April 22, a spokesperson said.

Filming began in December on what is Craig’s fourth James Bond film. The previous one, ‘Skyfall’, which was released in 2012, made $1.1bn worldwide.
