Avatar sequels to be made in New Zealand
December 17 , 2013
Avatar director James Cameron has recently announced that the three sequels of the movie will be shot in New Zealand.
The sequels, which are expected to be filmed in 2015, will bring $413M to the nation. Every sequel will be released around Christmas each year starting in 2016.
Cameron praised New Zealand and the nation's film industry as he made this announcement. Considering that this project is the biggest one there since 'Hobbit,' Cameron mentioned that him and Peter Jackson will try to avoid production overlapping.
