Artists, bands cancel shows in Israel

  • Artists and music bands, including the Backstreet Boys and Paul Anka have canceled and postponed their concerts in Israel, citing security issues, as per media reports.

A spokesperson for Anka, who was due to perform in Tel Aviv later this month, said once the “local situation is resolved,” he will be there with the “latest version of his fantastic performance.”

In a statement, the Backstreet Boys said the canceling of their shows was a “major disappointment for the band and fans.”
