Andy Warhol works sell for $17 million at New York auction

More than 350 works by Andy Warhol have been auctioned for more than $17 million in New York.
The Christie's auction featured photographs and prints such asEndangered Species: San Francisco Silverspot, which fetched more than $1.2 million.
Some of the works have never before been viewed by the public.
Jackie, a screen print and paper collage of Jacqueline Kennedy, sold for just over $626,000, more than double its estimate.
Christie’s said Tuesday's sale saw great demand for the photographs and prints with many surpassing their estimates.
The auction is the first in a series of live and online auctions to raise funding for the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts in New York.
