Amanda Bynes' parents have been granted limited control over their daughter's personal affairs. Ventura County Judge Glen Reiser said Bynes' mother will have the authority to decide the treatment for her daughter if she is released from a psychiatric facility.
Lynn Bynes will have control over Amanda's finances as well.
The star has been in the facility since one month for starting a fire in someone's driveway. Bynes had also gotten into trouble earlier this summer because she reportedly chucked a marijuana bong from her apartment window.
The star was once one of the most popular actors on children's TV but her career eventually began to decline following the television series "What I Like About You."
