Actor Geoffrey Holder dies aged 84

  • Tony award-winning actor Actor Geoffrey Holder, best known for his role as Baron Samedi in the James Bond film 'Live and Let Die', has died, aged 84, according to media reports.

    Born in Trinidad and Tobago, he was also a dancer, choreographer, designer, painter, and composer.

    His other notable films, included 'Annie', 'Doctor Dolittle', and 'Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask).'

    More recently, Holder was the narrator in Tim Burton’s 2005 take on 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.'
