AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd pleads not guilty

  • The drummer of the legendary rock band AC/DC, Phil Rudd, has pleaded not culpable to the charges of possession of drugs and threatening to kill, media reports say.

The Australia-born drummer’s lawyer entered the plea on his behalf at the Tauranga District Court in New Zealand.

The 60-year-old had initially been charged with attempt to procure the murder of two people. But the charge was later dropped for lack of evidence.

The names of the alleged hit-man and the alleged targets have been suppressed.
