Yogurt could reduce diabetes risk
February 7 , 2014
A new research shows that a yogurt a day could help keep the doctor away. A significant decrease in type 2 diabetes has been discovered in those who consume low-fat fermented dairy products.
The risk for developing diabetes is 28 percent in those who eat low-fat yogurt but consuming fermented dairy products reduces it by four percent.
HealthDay notes that the observations were seen in individuals who consumed about four or five 4-ounce servings each day.
