Woman retires from target after 45 years
October 31 , 2013
Jeanne Brouillet began working at a Target in Bloomington, Minn. on Oct 28, 1968 and retired on Monday after 45 years.
Brouillet has been working at the Edina location since 1973 and performing several kinds of duties such as serving sample cookies to customers.
The 95-year-old said the store enriched her life and she's "welcome here and that means everything." The store even threw her a party on her last day.
Brouillet mentioned that she enjoyed her time at Target and put her heart into her job. She now plans on spending time with her family but will continue to shop at Target.
"I'll miss the public," she said. "I'm a people person."
