Warren Buffet made $10B on financial crisis buys
October 8 , 2013
Warren Buffett was one of the few people who bought into the big banks in the middle of the financial crisis; he bought in big to giants such as General Electric and Goldman Sachs.
Reports suggest that the Berkshire Hathaway maestro has made an almost 40 percent return on his investments. The amount is $10B at present and is expected to rise.
"In terms of simple profitability, an average investor could have done just as well investing in the stock market if they bought during the panic period," Buffett said. "You make your best buys when people are overwhelmingly fearful."
