Volkswagen recalls 5,906 cars in China

  • German carmaker Volkswagen began to recall 5,906 vehicles in China over defective batteries, the nation's quality watchdog said on Tuesday. Starting from Tuesday, Volkswagen will recall 5,906 imported 2012-2014 Flying Spur models and Continental models, manufactured between February 5, 2011, and May 15, 2014, media reports cited the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) statement.
