US home and lifestyle firm Martha Stewart Living sold for $353m
June 23 , 2015
Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, the home and lifestyle company, will be sold to Sequential Brands for $353 million, reports say.
The US firm’s founder Martha Stewart will remain the chief creative officer and a key shareholder. She said that the merger with the clothes brand management company would boost the brand’s “growth and expansion.”
Martha Stewart Living saw a drop in its sales in the past few years, and suffered an image setback after Stewart was jailed for a few months for insider trading.
