US economy added 252,000 jobs in December

The good news surrounding the US economy continues, with 252,000 jobs being added in December and the country's unemployment rate falling to 5.6%, official data show.
The number of those unemployed in the US has dropped by 383,000.
Overall, the average job growth for 2014 was 246,000 per month, a considerable increase from the previous year’s figure of 194,000.
President Barack Obama said on Thursday that 2014 was the “strongest year for job growth” since the nineties.
