US economy added 215,000 jobs in July; unemployment stays at 7-year low

The US economy has added 215,000 jobs last month, with the unemployment staying at 5.3%, a seven-year low, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Retail, health care, financial activities, and technical and professional services contributed to the July job gains.
Over the year, the number of unemployed were down by 1.4 million while the unemployment rate dropped by 0.9 percentage point, the bureau said.
Meanwhile, the revised figures from May and June reveal that 14,000 more jobs had been created compared with previous reports.
