UK economy to return to growth in second half
May 3 , 2012
The UK economy will return to growth in the second half of 2012, according to the Confederation of British Industry (CBI).
Faster growth is expected in 2013 but the CBI did cut its forecast for the remainder of the year from 0.9 percent to 0.6 percent.
The CBI said demand for manufacturing was on the rise but challenges from the global economy such as stability in the eurozone and high oil prices remained.
