UK and USA growth downsized by IMF
July 24 , 2017
IMF (International Monetary Fund) has said that the growth of UK and USA economies will be slower in 2017 than what was earlier predicted to happen. It had earlier predicted that UK economy would grow by 2% but brought it down to 1.7% owing to economic activity failing to meet expectations in the first three months of 2017. Similarly, it has said that US economy would grow by 2.1% as opposed to 2.3%. Its predictions for global economic growth however remain the same at 3.5% growth in 2017 followed by 3.6% in 2018.
