U.S. plunge affects Asian stocks
January 14 , 2016
Thursday saw Japan’s Nikkei fall as much as 4.4%, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng closed down 0.6% lower. The latter suffered a 2.1% loss earlier in the day. The figures dropped after the U.S.markets witnessed a rough day of trading on Wednesday with the Nasdaq, Dow and S&P 500 plunging 10% or more from their latest peaks. According to the experts, the market stocks are fluctuating due to diminishing oil prices and the doubtfulness regarding the dropping of the value of Yuan and China’s troubled economy.
