Travel insurance may not be worth it

You might want to think before buying the travel insurance policy next time before going on a vacation.
The National Consumers League finds that insurers often say no to claims, especially since their policies have so many exceptions. "The unfortunate reality is that these protection policies bring in big buck for the airlines each year but offer very little value for customers," the executive director said.
Companies usually don't release payout records, which makes it hard to judge the efficiency of these policies. "There is no insurance that covers everything under the sun," a trade group said.
