Toyota car sales increase in the U.S.
May 2 , 2012
Toyota sales in the U.S. increased by 11.6 percent in April compared to the same period last year.
The rise comes as the firm continues to recoup its market share in the world’s biggest economy.
The carmakers’ sales had dipped in the U.S. after its Japanese production units were hit by last year’s earthquake and tsunami.
Toyota’s reputation also came under fire after safety concerns forced it to recall almost 12 million vehicles over the past two and a half years.
