Target founder Douglas Dayton dies at 88

Douglas Dayton, the man responsible for the conversion of a family department store into a retailing giant, died at the age of 88. He was suffering with cancer since a long time. Wendy Dayton, his wife confirmed his death.
Douglas Dayton took over Target, the family's department store in 1948. With his efforts, it has now reached to the top as a retailing giant.
