Subways to give NYC riders late notes
December 11 , 2013
There's some good news for New York City's subway riders: Delayed trains can give riders a late note if they request for one. Hence no one has to appear to be tardy at their job because of the city's public transportation.
Although, the service began back in 2010, it is relatively unknown and the authority has issued some 250,000 of these "Subway Delay Verification" notes since then.
Reports suggest that Japanese transportation system issues similar ones but those also come with apologies.
The notes, however, take a few days to arrive so you might still have to deal with your boss's anger when you arrive late.
