Stay home to fix the 'black thursday' problem

The outrage on Facebook and all the petitions online prove that Americans are not happy about the trend of store openings on Thanksgiving.
"All you have to do is do something else on Thanksgiving Day other than opening your wallet," Ellen Galinsky at Time wrote. "Don't go shopping on Thanksgiving. Just don't."
Recent research showed that such holidays are essential in keeping employees "healthy and productive."
Matt Walsh at the Huffington Post had something similar to say about the issue: "If you shop on Thanksgiving, you're part of the problem."
