Rich planning to create 'Floating City' for $10B
December 2 , 2013
Can you imagine living on a luxury ship for the rest of your life? The $10B worth Freedom Ship might become a "floating city" with an airport, shopping centers, schools, a library and much more.
The concept was proposed by the late engineer Norman Nixon and is being planned by Roger Gooch. He mentioned that the project may be a possibility now since the global economy has become better. "The Freedom Ship will be the largest vessel ever built," he said. Reports suggest that it will be able to hold about 40,000 guests at one time.
The only drawback is that the size of the vessel won't make it possible for it to enter a port. It will have to permanently be at water. It's also fascinating to note that the ship will circle the globe every two years.
