Prize-winning Greece Eurozone Exit Plan
July 6 , 2012
While the current Greek administration has no plans of exiting the Eurozone, a practical plan for the country’s exit did however, become the theme for a contest held in London. Sponsored by British businessman, Simon Wolfson, the competition had a reward of $388,000. The best plan was designed by Roger Bootle and economists from Capital Economists. Bootle's report titled "Leaving the Euro: A Practical Guide" focused on the Greek economy and formulated a detailed action plan. Many other economists also had submitted entries.
