Pope Francis to feature on the cover of Rolling Stone
January 30 , 2014
Pope Francis may be the 266th person to hold the job but he's certainly the first one to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone.
The article in the magazine, written by Mark Binelli, mentions that Francis is "a man whose obvious humility, empathy and, above all, devotion to the economically disenfranchised has come to feel perfectly suited to our times."
The pontiff has also featured in an anonymous graffiti, which shows him flying with his fist forward. It appears that the Pontifical Council for Social Communications approves of the image since it tweeted it with a note saying, "We share with you graffiti found in a Roman street near the Vatican."
