Nike's online sales up by 70%

  • Nike has reported 70% higher online sales last quarter, leading to a 7% surge in after-hours trading shares.The company has made a lot of effort in improving its website, and gives shoppers multiple options to customize products.

    Female gear sales have grown faster than men’s, with chief executive Mark Parker crediting a new app for the growth.

    The summer World Cup in Brazil, where Nike sponsored several teams, has also helped the firm this year, reports said.
