January 31 , 2017
As per reports, the US and UK regulators have slapped a fine of $630m (£504m) on Deutsche Bank for having connection with a Russian money laundering plan. According to the claims, shares were bought as well as sold through the bank's London, Moscow and New York offices which helped clients to move $10bn out of Russia, illegally.
According to the authorities, numerous opportunities were missed by the bank to detect, investigate and even put an end to the scheme, while the bank says it co-operated with the regulators.
