McDonald's is refreshing its drive-thru
November 16 , 2013
McDonald's is soon to have three drive-thru windows instead of two.
Customers will still place their orders and pay on the first window and pick up their food from the second time. However, the third window will be used to save time since customers will be asked to scoot up to it if their food is taking long to be prepared.
The company hopes to improve on the wait time since 70 percent of its sales come via the drive-thru.
It's also spending about $3B next year to open at least 1,600 new restaurants and remodel about 1,000 old ones.
