Lotto winner waits 6 weeks before claiming $425M

  • The man who won the biggest lottery in California turned up to claim his $425M on April Fool's Day and wore a t-shirt that read "Luck of the Jedi I have."

The 59-year-old B. Raymond Buxton mentioned that he couldn't get sleep for days after finding out that he had won the money. He made sure to hire PR, financial and legal representation before coming forward to claim the prize.

Buxton said he wants to create a charity, which will focus on "areas of pediatric health, child hunger, and education." He also plans on leading a discreet and normal life while affecting life "in a positive way."
