London – The New World's Most Expensive Place to Live

  • Going by the report from international estate agent Savills, London has tagged itself as the “world’s most expensive city.” It has surpassed Hong Kong, where residential rents have come down, reports say. The Londoners in the meanwhile have been hit by exorbitant property prices.

In the span of six years, London climbed from the fifth to the first place though as reports suggest, the cost of working and living in London has still not beaten the record cost set by Hong Kong in the year 2011 when it stood at $128, 000 per annum.
