Lawsuit against CVS is linked to blindness
June 21 , 2014
A Houston man is reportedly suing CVS since a pharmacy apparently ruined his one eye. The 65-year-old Claudis Alston was prescribed eye drops by a doctor but said the pharmacy accidentally handed him ear drops. Reports suggest that doctors couldn't save his eye once he rushed to the emergency room after using the ear drops.
The man's lawyer mentioned that there should be no question about credibility since the pharmacy gave him a package labeled "EAR SOLN," with clear instructions to use in his eyes.
CVS hasn't responded to the allegations as yet and Alston could be awarded $250k.
