December 17 , 2014
Online travel booking service Lastminute.com has been sold by American technology company Sabre Holdings to Bravofly Rumbo, the Swiss travel firm, for $120 million.
Founded by Brent Hoberman and Martha Lane Fox in 1998, Lastminute.com became popular during the dotcom boom at the turn of the millennium.
Sabre, which had bought the online travel service in 2005, had earlier said that it would sell Lastminute.com to concentrate on its other technology portfolios.
