Kirk Kerkorian, legendary US businessman, dies aged 98

Kirk Kerkorian, a legendary US businessman who made his billions in Las Vegas and played an important role in transforming the strip into a popular tourist destination, has died aged 98.
The son of immigrants, he had the largest shares in MGM Resorts International. He bought and sold the MGM film studio thrice.
After dropping out of school as a teenager, he took to boxing and later flying warplanes in World War 2.
Though his wealth took a hit in recent years, it was estimated to be $4.2 billion in May 2015.
