JPMorgan to face a new scandal
August 19 , 2013
JPMorgan is now being investigated over the possible hire of powerful Chinese officials' children who would help the bank win business in the Middle Kingdom.
The New York Times says it has a document, which proves that SEC is looking into documents regarding some particular hirings in China. There have been major developments in the company since these hirings have taken place.
Even though, there is nothing wrong or illegal about hiring these children but an expert says the practice could lead to issues and questions regarding whether or not the people hired were even qualified for the position. This is only one of the possible red flags that it could raise.
