Japan considers supplementary budget

  • The Japanese government has planned to submit a draft supplementary budget at the start of the regular parliament session in January 2016 so that officials can implement key policies, the media reported. The supplementary budget will be for the current fiscal year, which ends in March 2016, public broadcaster NHK reported. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe wants to see his pet projects realised as soon as possible. He plans to have measures for it drawn up by the end of the year. Source: IANS
