Italy plans on making use of such things as cigarette smuggling and prostitution in its GDP figures, which will result in giving a big boost to the economy.
Prime Minister Mario Renzi aims on cutting Italy's deficit to 2.6 percent of GDP and it'll be easier to achieve the target if illegal sectors are used, according to media reports.
According to the European Union, the move would add about 2 percent to the nation's GDP.
