Huawei's smartphone sales up 39% in first half of 2015

Chinese firm Huawei has said its global sales of smartphones have increased by 39% in the first six months of the year. On Monday, the smartphone maker had reported a 30% increase in overall revenue. It said it had shipped 48.2 million devices in the first half of the year globally.
Huawei, the world’s fourth-biggest manufacturer of smartphones, is competing with firms such as Xiaomi and Apple for the number one spot in China.
