Hong Kong shares see downward trend after Lunar New Year break

As trading started after the Lunar New Year break, Hong Kong shares joined the downward trend that is being witnessed across Asia. According to media reports, Kong Kong’s Hang Seng closed down 742.37 points or 3.85 percent to 18,545.80. Meanwhile the Chinese markets remained closed for a much longer Lunar New Year break.
